Growing up in an artistic family, Shawna has dabbled in everything from music and graphic design, to cake decoration and metalwork.

Before her 30th birthday, Shawna realized a lifelong goal by training under Lana Pawlitski to become a silversmih.

A farm girl at heart, Shawna still makes her home in the country, where she practices both her craft as a silversmith and her sport as a barrel racer on Alberta's rodeo circuit.
